Very nice. That shotgun is fast. I've been having discussion with some of the folks who post in the gun photo section and they've advised me I should have a shotgun, pistol and rifle. I've only started looking at pistols, but next time I'm in the store (a local farm supply place with a huge gun section) i'll see if they've got one of those shotguns. I assume it would work ok for home defense kind of things.

rick, the best home defense shotgun is the remington 870 and it's a lot cheaper to boot! I've always said, the two worse sounds an intruder can ever hear is "woof" and the rack of a shotgun!!

Thanks. I went by that farm store this weekend, they didn't have a FN shotgun. He had some Mossberg guns he showed me, I'll go back and ask to see a Remington.

Gun photo section????

Mossbergs 500's, etc make nice home defense platforms as well. Lots of modifications can be made to them as well. (lights, shorter barrels, etc. ie. "tactical shotgun")

That said, I love my Remington 870 - have three different barrels for it, including the tactical one. Very sweet!

mossberg's are not bad guns but I believe the remington 870 will hold it's value better.

rusty hammer, action shooting is a sport that is why it is in this section. ;)

oh there were plenty of reloads at this match, just not any on this particular stage. I shot almost 500 rounds of 12ga that weekend.

All I own are three nail guns but they aren't much use in case of a home invasion..... it takes quite a while to run the hose and fire up the compressor.

I used to shoot a lot of 3gun and am hoping to get back into it. The big pro/am match is coming up next month, I will be working and shooting in that.
