Try to give yourself a little bit more room at the sides of the shot for the subject to "move" into. Also watch your horizon is level. Exposure looks good to me, keep practicing.

Thanks guys, point taken about more room and horizon.

I did crop #'s 1 and 2 to give more of a dramatic feel of the surfer's wake.

Some more, they were a bit off shore and I was using the 70-200. My big disappointment was I couldn't any of the surfer's facial expressions.
