Moose are not real plentiful in Yellowstone -so if you get to see one you are real happy - you see one like this and it is crazy time - up on the Blacktail Plateau trail - just got lucky

I am hiding- you can't see me

Wow, you actually saw a moose in Yellowstone! Great photos! We looked quite a bit up there in June but only saw moose in Grand Teton.

Just returned from Yellowstone myself but didn't see any moose (we did see two in the Tetons). Looks like he's staring you down in the second one. Great shots.

Lucky girl!! We did not see any moose this time in Yellowstone! We even went through Moose Pass in the Tetons and Jackson Hole but did not see any. They are so shy (except in Alaska). Glad you found one.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

We saw three bulls on the Blacktail Plateau Road back when I was shooting film. I was using Kodachrome and the shot B/W. Really got some nice shots. Saw a couple more later around Fishing Bridge. That was over 20 years ago.
