Nice location. Don't care for the processing.

Don't care for that rock/weeds in the foreground or the processing.

Expressing a processing preference at variance from the OP's presentation is not hating. :) It is beautiful scenery, but I don't prefer the processing either.

Huh? The OP welcomed critiques and I didn't get the impression that other posters were "hatin" on his photo.

Anyway, scenery is incredible, but the processing is borderline overcooked HDR.
The image could definitely use a tigher crop, the giant boulder in the foreground serves to be more of a distraction. Otherwise, I think your framing is very good and the wide angle gives you more cropping options.

I was there two weeks ago too. I like the composition including the boulder. The processing is overdone for my personal taste, but I'm a bit boring and like the natural looks.

Maybe tell him why you are hatin on his processing? It will help him get better.

I like the rock in the foreground, but have been told that it "ruins" the shot when there are objects interrupting the reflection. The scene is beautiful. On the processing the HDR is overdone. You got a lot of haloing that you can see with the light blue above the tree line in the center. Also you have a kind of neon green coming out in the tree reflection. When you take the slider over too far you tend to get these effects, so try to keep it to the left. You can still create more of a surreal look with different processing methods or tone mapping, but the haloing and strange colors are generally considered "bad processing". But just be ready because any time you bring an HDR photo in here, there are some that will bash it unless it's not 100% natural looking. They think HDR stylization is satanic or something.

Composition is ok. The HDR effect is a bit distracting, a bit too dark. I would have like to see the clear blue water instead of seeing the cloud's reflection in the water.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Perhaps I'll go back and see if I can pull back some of the burnt areas so that the image isn't overcooked. When shooting I was drawn to the rocks in the foreground as I thought they would root the photograph. I'll try to re-post my 2nd attempt.

I personally like the rocks. It adds more interest, not that the reflection/clouds aren't.
