Hey folks, thought i'd share a few recent favorites. Tried a few new things, and loved the new 70-200 f2.8 IS v2. mmm...

before anyone asks, yes, the tilt on the few is intentional. the company i shoot for, well let's just say that's their thing, and since they sign my checks, I do it as well! hope you enjoy!

I like these overall. There are several that I really like.

That said, here's my take:

1. I would brighten up the building a little more and maybe clone out some the the birds above the electric pole, and if possible clone out that tree trunk.

2. I think shooting this at 17mm might have made the arms on the girl to the right look bigger.(?) I would use liquify on her arm a little bit and also crop tighter or clone out the trees on the right side of the frame.

3. Nice shot and I like the veil blowing in the wind. I straighten the photo a little bit though.

4. Not sure I like the tilt at the expense of cutting their feet off. There's an aweful lot of space up top so there was no reason to cut them off like that. I would have backed off a little bit more, have them dip in the middle of the street and shot this straight up, using the sidewalk as lines, using the 70-200 @200 for maximum compression and isolation and at f2.8.

5. I like this shot, but she looks so much taller than her!

6. Pretty bland looking ring shot. I would try to sharpen the gem a little more and clone out what looks to be your head and flash head from the groom's ring.

7. Nice moment captured. I would crop tighter to get rid of the DJ in the background and possible that ceiling fan.

8. Nice shot. Looks a little cool, especially the skin tones. Not sure the bouqet needed to be there.

thanks Nick, I always enjoy learning something new.

just curious, but how many shots do you deliver per wedding? It would take me forever if I cloned out every little issue with each shot, but I agree with pretty much everything you said.

ps here's one i didn't cut their feet off :/
