After I bought my 135l and Sigma 50f/1.4 I don't think i've taken my 85 out of my bag once. It's to bad because I have taken some of my favorite shots with the lens. It's fast, sharp and light for the image quality it provides. But it just sits as I always reach for the 135 or 50.
My delima is do I keep it and hope I do get back to using it or sell and buy the Singh-Ray Vari-Duo? I really like to shoot during the full daylight hours and have plenty of strobes to help with any lighting scenarios I may encounter. I like primarily portraits and I think the vari-duo would be a great benefit to my style of shooting I want to pursue.
And I do plan on purchasing either the 24-105 f/4 or the 70-200 f4 IS later this year so I will have the 85mm range covered albeit at f/4 and not f/1.8

So what would you do if I may ask the collective body on this forum?

Here are a couple of shots taken with my 85.

I have a very easy time selling stuff that I don't use. I easily gave up the 135L and 200 f/2.8L. I am keeping the 85 1.8 even though it sees little use.

I sell gear I don't use. Why keep hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars tied up in stuff that's just sitting there? I prefer a small, but often-used collection that's exactly suited to my style of photography (after having had the opposite: an extensive bunch of stuff, half of which never got touched).

Besides, the 85 1.8 is definitely a nice lens, but it's not perfect or irreplaceable (I know, I've had one).

Honestly, the $300 I will get from selling this lens won't make a difference in my life. I use it, just not nearly as often enough as I wish I did. And when I NEED it, its there.

Lots of pros and cons having too much gear.
At one point, I had 14 L lenses and 4 FF bodies and related gear.
Back then, when my friend asks me to take portraits of his daughter and her friends, I would bring about 10 lenses - I couldn't even figure out which lens to use.

Bought and sold more gear as the years pass - now I'm down to 1 body, 6 L lenses and about a dozen lights. When I shoot, I bring 2 lenses (3 the most) and just focus on my photography. Looking at your gear list, I would say, keep it. 85L is actually my fave prime lens - you'll miss your 85mm for sure. I do have 135L and 200L that haven't touched for years but I'm keeping them.

If you're not using it and you'd use the money to buy something that you would actually use, sell it.

But I'm sure Canon would like to remind you that there's always the option of the f/1.2 ;)

I have the 50mmL and 100L, but i felt i missed something, so i got the 85mm1.8. It is faster focusing for those sport shots than the 100L and longer than the 50L. The 100L will probably collect even more dust, the 135mmL is next on my hitlist. I just wonder, is there a place for all three? Anyone have all three?

Looking at OP's list of lenses, i would keep it. 50,85 and 135, its enough FL differance in my opinion. Keep it Thorrulz, keep it.

I sold my 85 1.8 and then later regretted it. I recently bought another. Just start reaching for it first for awhile.

This

if you don't need that $300 to get the new lens then keep it. if the $300 makes a difference then sell it.

I have the 85 and I also have the 100 macro and the 24-105L. I wouldn't sell a lens that I liked just because I haven't used it in awhile. If that were the case, I'd keep my 35f2 and sell the rest of my primes.
I have a Tokina 12-24F4 zoom. I don't use it a lot, but there have been times when it was needed... like last week. I want what it can do for me. Just because I don't use it every week, doesn't mean I won't use it on my next trip, for example.

Besides, it is fun having a variety of lenses to choose from. I just avoid needless duplication. I am an amateur, so I wouldn't get the 24-105L, and the 24-70F2.8, and the 17-55IS, and the 28-135, etc. The 24-105L may include the 85mm focal length, but nothing that I have seen will focus as fast as the 85f1.8, and it is a fast lens, i.e., wide maximum aperture. This is not duplicated by the zooms. The 85 is perfect for sports, and for some events. I'd rather bring the 85 with me to a concert than the 24-105F4 L, if I knew where I was sitting and the 85 were the appropriate focal length for that position.
I am keeping mine.

I only keep my 85 because its crazy sharp on my T1i and my 70-200 IS II is not. Its a good backup. :D

I had the 85L for about two weeks before I returned it and decided that the 50L was a better focal range for me. That being said, I really really liked that 85 and even though it wont get used nearly as much as my 50, it will be my next purchase.
