LED monitors , colormunki

i'm have a **** of a time calibrating my new LED monitor with my colormunkiphoto. every time, it calibrates to a blueish tint ... whilst the same setting on my other nonLED LCD (IPS panel) comes out warmer.

its there some known issue with calibration and LED backlit monitors? i tried another LED monitor and the results are the same.. blueish tint on the calibration.

A color expert told me LED monitors aren't supported by all older calibrators, like my DTP94. The Spyder 4 works well with LED monitors.

That link iso posted suggests you just need to change a setting though.

highly odd. i trialed a spyder 4 pro as a trial. calibrates my LED and LCDs very nicely. colormunkiphoto failed to deal with the LED. i guess i wont return the spyder4. i'll keep my colormunkiphoto to calibrate printer profiles.
