I know it's not a great photo, but I'm posting this in tribute to Trevor Roche who died when this original DH 53 Humming Bird crashed on Sunday. I took this a few years ago, and have always enjoyed the displays of vintage aircraft at Old Warden. Trevor was an experienced pilot, who sadly died doing what he loved.

That's too bad. From the video, it sounds like maybe his heart gave out.

Nice idea.

Such a sad loss, he will be much missed at the Shuttleworth Collection.

Hope you don't mind if i post a few of Trevor in action. Whatever he flew, he always flew it well.
