holy mackeral Ryan! that looks fantastic!

Can I have your hand me down camera?!?! LOL! I can't convince my DH to let me get a new one, I'm stuck with my Rebel XS and it's not being kind to me (and I can't find a place to take it to to have someone look at it, it's needs a professional looking over/cleaning I think)

Congrats on the new 5d3! :D I just picked up a 5d classic myself, feeling like a complete beginner all over again! But loving it so far. I have a quick question for you, and maybe this comes from doing the 365, but how do you find time to fit the camera and taking photos in everyday life? Does it ever feel like a chore or do you have a hard time trying to get "different" shots?

I think I loose inspiration for shooting at home, and often find myself wanting to take my dslr camera out and about too, but with a 1 and 2 year old, it seems to get left behind more than I'd like!

Lol! The 5d3 is so amazing. It has the AF system that suits my style of shooting. I like to move a single focus point around and so I don't have to focus and recompose.

Congrats on the Classic! That's is an awesome camera!

That was a huge struggle for me when I did the 365. I tried to keep it from getting stale. I really had a hard time with that during the winter. Being cooped up killed motivation...that's for sure!

I just try to take my camera with me every day. I don't want to miss a moment. I take it into stores with us too! Lol! I like to take Ry to parks and just follow her around and take shots of her being herself. That's when you get the moments.

You're right.. I just need to take it with me regardless! Actually now that my younger one is starting to walk more on her own its getting easier with them (other than the fact they run in different directions... LOL) I know what you mean about the moments, you just have to be ready at anytime!

Hi Ryan,
Amazing photos as always. You know, somehow I knew you would end up getting the 5D3. Enjoy it!

Kind regards,
Dimitri

Thanks Dimitri. That camera was built for me! While I'm no pro, this camera will do everything I could possibly want or need. Expensive...but I love it!

I started with a 40d, 7d, then Nikon D3s, now back to Canon with the 5d3. I agree with it being a wonderful camera. I enjoyed the D3s immensely, but the canon files and lens options are more pleasing to me. Enough camera talk...

Having a 3 month old son and a 4 year old daughter I know how difficult it is to take pics everyday of the kiddos. I can't give you enough props for finding the time and doing this. I admire your PP work as much as your persistence. PP is where I struggle, I find myself getting frustrated.

Keep up the good work, and congrats on having such a beautiful family to photograph!

Thank you very much! I do love the 5d3 very much! I also bought a 135L that I really love. It is such a great lens.

Love this image! Are you still in awe every time you pull up an image that you KNOW the mark II would have missed and its perfectly sharp on the 5DIII? I know I am. ;)
