More info | Jul 04, 2012 13:44 | #2 Lilies can be the most fabulous subjects, this one is so small with all the pads and reeds poking up. If you can somehow isolate that lily, just simply by moving yourself around, I bet you will capture a more pleasing image showcasing the lily itself. Watch your light levels on that white, very easy to lose all detail on the petals. Look forward to another go at it! you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

Thank you! The pond was so congested with the pads a cattails. I have a few others that have yet to be edited. I did have to burn the edges of the petals a bit due to them being so "washed out" <--- for a lack of better wording. I'm going to try the wild life refuge here sometime soon. There seems to be a lot more to work with. Thanks again! -Jim

There is one more that I really liked, and it was much closer and has the reflections. I will try to get it up on here later tonight. -Jim

I gave the tighter crop a try. I do like it a bit more. Thanks for the advice SBM lillypond-1v 2.0 -Jim
