Lilies can be the most fabulous subjects, this one is so small with all the pads and reeds poking up. If you can somehow isolate that lily, just simply by moving yourself around, I bet you will capture a more pleasing image showcasing the lily itself. Watch your light levels on that white, very easy to lose all detail on the petals. Look forward to another go at it!:D

Thank you! The pond was so congested with the pads a cattails. I have a few others that have yet to be edited. I did have to burn the edges of the petals a bit due to them being so "washed out" <--- for a lack of better wording. I'm going to try the wild life refuge here sometime soon. There seems to be a lot more to work with. Thanks again!

I do like that you grabbed the reflection of the lily in this one, see if that will happen again.it's worth it!

There is one more that I really liked, and it was much closer and has the reflections. I will try to get it up on here later tonight.

I like the shot but i think a closer crop would be nicer, i dont feel the top area of the image is doing the main subject any justice, it's taking away from it in my opinion.

I gave the tighter crop a try. I do like it a bit more. Thanks for the advice SBM

That vertical pad is taking the eye directly to it. I still look forward to your next post!;)

See what happens when you "see" what you want to? Just lovely......last one for me all the way! Good on you for re-thinking what it can be.
