This is by far the most difficult and miserable shot I have ever attempted. The water flow was different and higher than my trip to this spot last year.

My chest waders stuck out the back of my failing umbrella and filled me full of water via ass crack. ;)
I came out fully soaked. Can you believe the lens didn't have a drop on it?

An amazing adventure, for sure. I'm glad you and your equipment came out ok. At any rate, the shot is fabulous.

Well it might have been difficult to take, and you might have been miserable, but you got a lovely shot IMO.

Really, really nice. Only (very, very slight) gripe is the darkness in the bottom right.

Is this in Iceland? I feel like I have been in this spot. Or maybe it just looks similar.

Thanks for looking guys!

This is in Washington state. I'm not sure how I managed to find this spot as it is off a really boring trail. I am confident this has never been photographed before. How often do you see shots under a full curtain of water? :)

The light falloff on the right is natural as there was a log sitting above the water and blocking light. It does look odd, so i might remedy it.

Won't be what I was thinking of- I was under a fairly similar looking waterfall in Iceland a few years back. No photos of it though, would've been drenched...

It may have caused you discomfort and misery to get the shot, but it was well worth it.

It was definitely more than worth enduring the waterlogged nether-regions. This is a fantastic shot.

For good reason! Lucky if the camera even works, let alone to find one like this.

Yes. I was scared out of my whits when the rocks started shaking and cracking a little around me. It wasn't until I reviewed the shots and one came out sharp, that I was relieved.

"waterlogged nether-regions" - Great title. I'll use that. :D

Canon_Lover,

Another great shot from Washington State. Your body and clothes will dry out.... but if you print that photograph, you'll have it forever. OK, perhaps not forever.... but until you have no further use for it. ;)
