As the others have said, it's underexposed and out of focus. Also you aren't positioned for the direction of the light so almost your entire subject is in harsh shadow. But the whole other problem is like 24alpha said, instead of showcasing great action, it showcases an enormous conflict between pony and rider with really poor hand position, gaping mouth, and panicked, highly uncomfortable expression. http://juliewardphotography.com
