From the top of a parking garage that I usually use as a vantage point to shoot lightning.

Are those the Lake Eola fireworks? Which garage do you use?

The moon really makes the shot; very nice!

Beautiful image. I'm guessing it was not the result of a single shot on the camera.. but great job either way!

I'm thinking it's a composite (two or more images combined) because the exposure of the fireworks and the moon and the buildings might not be close enough to allow all those things to work out "just right."

I would say the exposure for the moon would be somewhere between 1/30 to as much as 1/125 depending on the brightness or the moon, and the moon white-balance looks a little on the warm or yellow side while the white-balance on the buildings looks a little bit on the cool (greenish) side. Knowing that the exposure on the fireworks would have to be something on the slow side to capture the path or the explosion and flight path, like 10 sec. or more.

All those things make me think this is some sort of composite.

You didn't say how this shot was produced
