Image #2 - the very first "Face Time" machine... who knew AT&T created facetime in the 20's? )that is an actual (non working) model of the TV Phone - caller would pick up the handset and make a phone call, and once connected, would see the person called on the small TV screen in front of them. It didn't last long since - heavens.. it was enormous... and like apple "Facetime" when it first came out, you couldn't "FaceTime" anyone unless they also had the set up. 1927! go figure. Thank you "American Museum of the Moving Image" allowing us access to a byegone era
