tone it down just a bit.. and i think you good....

did my own edit but idk if you'd like it

Definitely took care of the warmth, lol. I think somewhere in between would be good. I just haven't had the time to go back into it yet. Or the initiative. Did you do that through HSL or Temp/Tint?

I had to tone it down though various settings Hsl and temp and tint were in there. There was a bit of exposure in as well.. You did great on all the shots.. Just in my monitor the colors look over saturated and my monitor sucks btw.. I'm not sure how my edit really looks in a good monitor.. Haha

I think your edit needs a bit more color, and mine a bit less. It was only my second time using a cto gel. Think it may not have been a good choice in that situation.

The search for the perfect monitor calibration profile will drive us all to our deaths.

Bent, how do you like your 1Ds? I'm looking at a 1Ds or a 5D

Well, for me (other than the fact that i wanted a FF) it was the body, i bough a batterygrip early for my 60D and can't live without it.. and i think the 1Ds body is flat out sexey and feels perfect in the hand.. like holding a beast.

If you consider other things like ISO, Sensor, megapixels, images/sec and more user friendly (to some) navigation and menu's, you should go for the 5Dc.

But nothing.. and i do mean NOTHING beats carrying around and using a 1D weather it's old or new.

Great shots on the last couple pages. Nice work: maxsteel, brenda & medicinsc!

I took this shot a while ago and could never come up with anything in post that I liked. Took another crack at it and I 'think' i'm finally happy with this:

 But, my body has some magnesium in it, too... so it's half way better. Isn't it?

I really get a kick out of the full frame vs crop arguments. There are a few advantages that each has over the other, but aside from that.... It doesn't freaking matter! LOL.

That said, I would still like to add a "full frame" camera to my list. One day. Unless one just falls into my lap, I have other things to worry about first. Like learning how to make the best image possible.

Absolutely! This way you have to worry about half the picture... not like the rest of us! :D When you are certain, can you tell us which half?:lol:

I think it's the four corners. No my whole life is ruined. Why couldn't they make it a whole, consecutive half? Now I have to to process the four corners individually, then the rest of the picture. If only I had that full frame goodness. Oh well, nothing to do but pack it in and sell everything. I'm done!

Enjoy your Friday! I'm working all weekend.
