Yes jam, it was there for 4 days only. I am glad it took only 4 days from a local camera repair shop I am still testing and it comes with 6 months warranty also.

Great series jam. I would like to add you as my contact in Flickr if that is ok with you. Just turn pro last night.

Thanks, Peter. Absolutely on the Flickr contact! I actually finally got around to updating and adding others as contacts as well. Glad to hear you got that lens back and have the warranty too. Nice.

I thought about making them more visible. I decided to leave them as an "easter egg' for those who looked closely. There are a few things I like about this photo but it ultimately goes in the *fail* folder IMO.

thanks for the input

Consider me one of the hunters who like easter eggs! ;) That's a tough shot with that type of lighting. Never a failure if we continue on and keep trying.

Can't vouch for Lightroom, But Photoshop Camera RAW 7.1 has a Color Fringing Correction. I would assume you can do it with the latest version of Lightroom too.

DJHaze- I dig the sunset/landscape photo :)
Michel- I think I've already favorited all those on Flickr

still hammering on the Sigma 17-50; I was pretty happy with this for ISO 3200. Of course there is some Photoshop involved...
Nothing special, just a photo of my dog. I think she's adorable and this is definitely one of those photos that will mean 100 times more to me than anyone else.
I really liked the catchlights in her eyes from the sunroof and the front windscreen.

Nice series Mitch. Do you see a familiar face walking everyday? it would be nice to take a pic of her/him with different clothes everyday. I am afraid that would be like stalking someone. Does it?
