Great work by everyone... here are a few I found notable for different reasons:

both of these are awesome. The simplicity and dynamics work really well for the first one. I think the reflection of the cars add alot to the second photo... it makes for a nice contrast.

great processing, the color palette really works here. I also like the arrangement of the elements.

That's a sweet light pattern... I like the combination of geometry and apparent randomness. It might make a more powerfulcomposition to shoot from higher up and looking down to eliminate the street and the cars.

Didn't know this kind of thread existed! Are these pictures too dark? They look fine on my temporary housing monitor but really, really dark on my work monitor.

They look fine on my uncalibrated work monitor; a little dark but not to a fault.
I like the geometry of #1
