Looking good, Paul!

I just realise that I did a pretty bad job with masking the trees in the first place... (Damn Laptop without mouse :D)

LR is pretty powerful. If you are working with a raw file then you'll have no problems with this image. :)

Paul it is a nice picture and good job on pp, but in my opinion this one is not good for printing(large) due to the high levels of noise. In other hand you have some other nights capes from the city's that I would go poster size!! in all of them.

Here's my take on the Australia photo. Best that I could do with just the JPEG.

Yep! I just downloaded the jpg and played with it for literally 3 mins. I used the curves to pull up shadows.

Here is the edit:

i tried with the available jpeg but can do much in the noise reduction department.. any chance of getting the high res version.. id like to take a crack at it if you dont mind. i want to see how far i can push it

here is my take

Yes, it is probably not the best photo to print, but I like it, because it reminds me of my travels. Since I already decided to print it, obviously I'm gonna try to make the most out of the picture!

^nice edit!

Yes, its not what I saw that day, but its all I got... Reminds me of going back and seeing it all again :) Do you think a canvas would help with noise as well? To me the texture always seemed to help a little...
