Came across a few ravens tearing apart the top of an old dead tree. I have no idea why. It must be good stuff because an awful argument ensued. Shots have been cropped and resized. Shots taken July 1.

Same day and one of the ravens in the previous post. I keep seeing all these fantastic portrait shots of birds. This qualifies as my attempt at such a shot. To preserve sharpness I did a crop severe enough to get me to 1607 pixels on the long side. My software really degrades image sharpness when resizing so I'll try not resizing. :-)

Something different for me. Went out with the macro lens. Mostly a bust due to the wind but I like this one. Only resized for posting.

Some winter wonderland shots taken New Years eve.

Then entrance to the walking trail and trees covered in a light snowfall in bright sunlight. I like everything about snow except shoveling it. :-)

How many shutter clicks do you have now?

I think it's a bit below13k. Almost new :-)

i just installed a program that is supposed to read the shutter count but haven't tried it yet.

Why let my 7D2 have all the fun. Set up the T3i and went bird hunting. Ptarmigan of course. Only resized for posting. All with the Tamron 150-600 G2. All taken April 13th. The second shot gives a wider view. For the past few weeks scenes like the second shot are common. Birds. Birds. Birds.

One from April 24 (the bird) which has been cropped a lot.
One from today, May 1. Spring is still a work in progress here :-) but its coming. At least I can see running water now.

A couple from May 8th. In the first one I cropped to keep his shadow in the frame. That I got him was just luck. Both shots are the same raven. Minor crops. Mostly resized for posting.
