Ooooh! Cool!

Impressive. I your opinion do you think the T2i would have caught these or did the 7D's AF system give you a shot that the T2i wouldn't have?

top notch, especially the watch and glasses. Love it!

Good start; can't wait to see more...

Hi Marm....If I am taking the pic and using my T2i I will not be able to caught it. Definitely 7D's AF system really helps me with this shot plus the burst mode too.

Thanks. I actually really like how the lighting tuned out there. The pose is... ummm... un-noteworthy and the nail design is one of my least favorite that she's done this year. But I really like the color scheme and lighting of the shot.

Nothing special, just seeing what this lens will do wide open under the lights. Not bad, IMO :) I've never used a lens that was this sharp at the widest aperture!

Thanks, I look forward to using it ;) I'm shooting a Cyclocross race with it tomorrow. Everyone complains about how slow the AF is... I guess I'll see if I can get anything useful out of it. If not then I still have other lenses including the 85 f/1.8.

FF? IDK. Part of me likes the idea but another part of me likes some of the advantages of the crop sensor. I'll beef up my lenses first for sure. I think the 70-200 mk II is my next lens. After that is the new Sigma 35 f/1.4. I'll probably rent a FF and see if the hype is true.

Honestly though... I can't imagine FF being any sharper than my studio shots with either cropper (T2i/7D)

I'm getting funky again tonight... I really liked the mix of sensual colors and clumsy lines here.

This guy was on my front porch. I think he froze to death the night before. In any case, he was very cooperative. Both shots were 1/100, f/18, ISO 200, 28-135mm @ 135, and 430ex II at camera left and 1/64 power.
