Looks like I'm set up to go to the Smoky on Oct 20. I will want to be seeing lots of things and taking lots of pictures. For the people that have been, do you have any recommendations for things I need to see and places to go. Is 7 days in the park enough time to see everything?
Thanks Dale

The entire park and surrounding area is amazing. Don't miss the Blue Ridge Parkway and Biltmore House in Asheville, NC, a short drive east.

If you don't mind walking some there are some amazing waterfalls on many of the trails there.

All of the GSM is beautiful. As everyone has already stated Cades Cove is a must, it is full of wildlife. It also has beautiful old churchs and homesteads. Make sure to plan your visit to Cades Cove during the weekday and avoid the weekends, it gets really crowded.
Stop and get a good map of the park which shows all the major roads and trails you can walk. Roaring Fork is also a pretty area, it is deep dark woods, with a beautiful stream with moss covered boulders. Have fun.
