I have owned an XSi since June 2008, then I bought a 60D in May this year (2012)
My question is this. When I was using my XSi and viewed the histogram, if the photo was over-exposed, the area that was over-exposed would flash back and forth black to white letting you easily see the exact area that is over-exposed and thus the total loss of any detail.
Now with my 60D if I have a shot that is over-exposed the histogram does not flash back and forth black to white, all you see is a very white area in the photograph.
I was very surprised to see the 60D does not do what my XSi does. Does anyone have any idea why this is? Is there a custom setting I can change so I do see the flashing on my 60D like is on my XSi?
Is there another answer?
Thank you
