Beautiful capture, great timing. I'm planning to be there in five weeks myself, now I can hardly wait.

Colors and clouds are magnificent. KUDOS to you.

Outstanding! Is this a single cropped shot or a pano?

We were just there in May & the lighting was so flat. You got a great shot... beautiful!

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments.

This is a single shot crop.
We were there for 3 days and were very lucky to get this storm on the first day. It took all day to build up and was quite intense when it finally cut loose just after sunset. The lighting was pretty flat for the last 2 days so the shots from then were just so-so.

FYI, we stayed at the Circle View Ranch just outside the park. Wonderful place to stay!
