This is my second post my first one was in the wrong place. I need some advice I have a G6 and I have a Cobra 700-af my question is can I use it on my G6 with out doing any damage to imy camera and would I get good results or should I just wait until I get a new flash I am pretty new to digital so please help

the cobra 700af has a trigger voltage of 4.4V, which is less than the 6v recommended as the maximum by canon

but the TTL metering and autofocus won't work, it'll only work in Manual mode.
