While photographing a Gray Hawk in Big Bend National Park in June, it coughed up a pellet and I managed to capture the action.

Very cool, I've never seen this in the wild, let alone with a camera in hand. Great Capture

One day I was walking on the street and somebody handed me a camera. I looked at them and said, "This is not a Canon, what do I look like? A charity case?" So I took it, and THREW IT ON THE GROUND!

Nicely done, Lee. I coughed up a similar pellet a little while ago.

Chuck

I used to see Gray Hawks all the time when I lived in the Lower Rio Grande Valley, but never doing this. Love it when things like this are posted and shared.
