Heck yeah! Whatever floats your boat (no pun intended...lake picture and all).

Hey, many photographers might shun the wild HDR look, but a lot of other people like it.

Most importantly is whether you gain satisfaction from your pic. If you like it, it's a winner.

I like the wild HDR look, but not that particular shot you posted (not because of the processing but because I don't find the subject interesting), but if you like it then it rocks.

Note: I totally like some of the other stuff you posted recently, like the stuff in this thread: https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1198609

Thank you. bw!

Thanks for the support Mike :)

BTW, I don't find the subject in this pic interesting either .. I just posted it to show some 'progress' I thought I had made. With a job and a half and three elementary school kids I have 10 minutes a day for myself; I can't get away anywhere interesting :)

I do not like overdone 'unnatural' HDR look; about this pic, did you find this overcooked? I thought it was cooked, but just about right. To each his own, of course, but I wanted to see if you thought this was over cooked and why.

Freddy ..

I don't find it overcooked, and I'm one that usually doesn't like overcooked. Nice job. I have no problem with the blown highlights on this either.
