I mostly shoot event photography and need a 2nd body because I dont like changing lenses during shoots.

This way I will have 35L on my markII and 85L/135L on my mk3 during an event depending on the size of the venue.

How does markII perform at around 3200 - 5000 ISO range (after NR is applied in post). Is it good enough for posting photos online (very subjective i know, but still).. is it good enough for prints at 3200?

Also a bit about my style of photography: mainly night time, indoors, using 1 on camera and 2-3 off camera flashes.

Are you mainly just shooting RAW?

If .jpg, then the mk3 does a much better job at taking the noise out at the expense of detail.

I think the mk2 does well at 3200 ISO, and is good enough for prints, but others may disagree.

Here is a link where you can compare RAW ISO shots between the mk2 and mk3.

5D2 does very well at high-ISO - arguably, the best of any camera prior to the 5D3, although some 1D4 owners might disagree.

The one thing you might have an issue with is focusing in dark environments, but your glass is all plenty fast and should help reduce any problems.

ABR800 - Several flashes, remote triggers, stands, too many and yet not enough lenses

Detail was lost on the 5D3 because the in camera noise reduction is set too high by default. Lower it to "low" and it does a fantastic job of balancing noise removal while maintaining detail.

OP the 5D2 will be fine at your specifications. You will be limited to center point af only though.

I love the ISO capabilities on my 5D2. I feel very comfortable to use 3200-6400 whenever. I even use H1 and H2 if the situation requires it! Its just that good IMO Sure it gets grainy, but Id rather have the grainy shot than no shot. Some samples of crazy high ISO:
