beautiful set. Great colors. I love the epic feel of the 1st one - despite the positioning of the knee.

looks like a really high stage, or you are pretty short. too many high angle shots of the singer. do you have any where you shot across the stage? also, watch your background. too many inadvertent photobombs by other band members.

the bass player shot is nice, and i'd crop out the guitarist on the right.

stage wasn't necessarily that high, i just kept down low to try and keep out of the way of people trying to enjoy the show as well as the other photogs who were just sitting down on these seat-step type things on the back of the barricade. this is only the second time i've ever shot from a pit. i find low angles can make for some interesting shots, but i definitely overdid it.

adding parts of other musicians on stage on the periphery wasn't necessarily inadvertent. i love the devils horn jutting into the frame in #3 for some reason. the only background photobomb from a musician that bothers me is #4 since he is half stuck behind the singer. thanks for your comments.

there were video cameras at both ends of the pit that i couldn't shoot in front of without obstructing them. here's a few more from center-stage, down low:

i'm sure these last four will make a pro trained to get the classically acceptable 'for publication shots' cringe, but i dunno, i think these have some merits.
