Attended a course on composition and posing.

Nice to cover some theory for a change. I've attended some courses where they just set up for you and off you go.

The only equipment used here is silver reflection and the camera (obviously).

Not really impressed with the posing if that was the purpose of the course... .

First image - great for a passport pose. Too straight on in other words
Second image-not happy with the right hand being square to the camera and the missing parts of her fingers
Third, Fourth, & Sixth images- poses make her look a lot bigger than I bet she really is.
Fifth image straight on again and now she has dark eye sockets.

If this was a paid model for the event then maybe someone should have suggested a wardrobe change?

Pretty subject though....

only decent pose is #2... rest are boring and look like snapshots

If this was a posing exercise, Why did you crop them all so tight?
