Don't you hate it when that happens!?
I got it with a 55-250mm for less than $500 total. Seemed like a good deal, hoping to love this camera. I've always wanted one!
Any advice, 40D users!?

I've still got mine as a second body and I keep my 100-400 almost permanently attached to it. The AF is great (better than my 5dii) and 6 FPS is not to be sniffed at either. The sensor is one of the best sensors of its generation IMHO. It's good up to ISO 800 and 1600 at a pinch. At lower ISO it delivers great colours and DR with virtually no banding. For all but the most imense of prints, it's all most people will ever need. Paul
