I had an Epson R3000 for about three weeks... consumed so much ink in just two weeks and to buy ink (all nine cartages) it would cost me about $260! SO I said screw it, I’m wasting too much. Returned it back to B&H. Kept my old R300 lol

Oh wow they took it back even after you used up the ink? Pretty nice of them.

No, That’s not surprising.., What IS surprising is that I had a $200 rebate, which they sent me AND BH took the printer back for the full price I paid!! I basically MADE money from them lol!

Yeah... The only thing I paid a lot for was the metallic 13x19 paper. $125 for 25 sheets.

How'd they turn out? What printer did you use to print them?

I did temporarily. The client usually just tells me what photo they want and then I send it out to the lab for print. I make a better profit that way. :)

Heh, wish I had a printer that could print stuff larger than 13x19. And an unlimited well of ink. It'd be like having an oil field in my back yard! :D

Having a printer that could print sizes larger than 24 x 36 is a potential nightmare and costly. I don't want to deal with a printer that breaks on me. Too much of a headache.

I wish canon had better DR but overall I like the canon system better

The problem I have with the 5D III is that the sensor is improved by a small margin. And the banding is improved slightly but, not any better. I like to push my shadows when I need it and this camera is great for those who don't care about DR. When I played with your file from the 5D III, I didn't see anything that my 1Ds III is unable to pull off. Plus, the 1Ds III sensor doesn't have banding at low ISO. If only Canon could use that same mapping from the 1Ds III to the 5D III, I'd be all over it.

Most of my clients are from work and they tell their friends. :) Word of mouth is free. I also hand out business cards.
