I saw your listing. The problem was you over priced it to begin with. 1700 was too optimistic to get. I went back a few sale weeks the highest i saw was around 1650. Tough to get that with another 1d III sitting in the FS sale at 1450 i believe.

The way i look at it is i rather sell and lose say 100-200 bucks than to have say 1400 bucks sitting there. Thats your situation right now. 1400 you could take to invest further in Nikon. Unless you have the financial means to support two systems i wouldn't suggest it.


I use my Garmin 800 to do all the data recording for my rides. Have very little experience using the apps. But in general the apps are dependent on cellular data and that as you enter in and out of service you are liable to have a jump like that.

probably not i couldnt find anything good on there unless you like cjick flicks or horrible action/kung fu movies, i dumped it before my 30 days was up

lol, you don't like Netflix?! All I do is watch Breaking Bad, 30 Rock, Weeds, etc.. etc.. the TV shows are the best on Netflix.

Well if I go both systems I wouldn't be using L wuality lenses, rather, I'd be using cheaper lenses. I am in no way selling it off for $1450 I'd maybe go down to $1500 is I get desperate but I'd rather not to be honest. There's too many flooded on the market anyways so no one wants to buy mine. At least with 2 systems if I use cheap lenses I have more options I guess, such as the 50 1.8G and 85 1.8G on Nikon and possibly a 50 1.4 and 85 1.4 on canon or maybe 17-40 as well on Canon. I figured worst comes to worst and I can't sell the Canon come the fall after I'm done shooting sports I'd probably have an easier time selling off the Nikon... If someone wants to buy my canon I won't have to worry about all this though.

Dealing with a damn stiff neck since yesterday so couldnt go out for my sunday ride. Will have to spend two hours on the f-ing trainer today

No one wants to buy yours because you priced it too high and have lowered it twice already. If i saw your listing i would think "Alright lets see how much lower he will go?". I would wait for the listing to time out. Then repost it at at an aggressive 1499. Label it priced to sell.

Well I've never bought them, they always came with the camera. I don't have a need for a grip though, I can deal without one to be honest, I was just curious.

I don't think my 1D3's going to sell either, if that's the case maybe I'll just stay with Canon and Nikon I'll get cheap lenses if that's the case then

that sucks, and im sure the heat is pretty bad there too, we had a heat index of 119 the other day.

i get up at 5:30 am and ride and work in that damn heat for 10 hours so last week i took a few days off from riding, that and my wife wanted my foot to scab over,lol.

Yeah i mean i am used to heat riding already, not by choice as you can see , so not too bad.

I should do what you are doing. Get up really early in the morning and try to get my rides in. Yeah your wife is right. Let that thing scab over! Last thing you want as an infection!

we hardley have any bike lanes so early morning riding is ideal, hardley any traffic. Im really looking at getting a speedfill sytem, 1 water bottle isnt lasting me long enough when you ride for an hour or 2.

my ms ride in september, not including lunch and water stops will be around 7-8 hours on the bike, and around 6 on sunday, im getting stoked up for it!
