That is some nasty looking bokeh :p

But still nice shot, though you blew out the highlights ;)

That's the 50 1.4 for ya.

Haha... thanks. The guys white shirt and the horse's white leg wraps were totally blown. 100% recovery could only do so much.

Lazuka. Who was permanently banned as a direct result of his own actions and efforts to disrupt the forum. Any ban on POTN applies to the individual who owns the account, and creating a new account doesn't let you come back. Certain clueless individuals have trouble with that concept. Aiding and abetting these trolls (that's what they are, folks. Let's call a spade a spade.) is viewed dimly around here. They are coming here solely to cause trouble and will not be tolerated.

Spammers are the obvious ones. But deliberate attempts to disrupt the forum rank highly, as do attempts to come back under a false identity while under even a temporary ban.

Thanks for the info Jon!

Really? The Canon?

Yeah... large sections of white like that are nearly impossible to not blow out without totally underexposing the entire shot... Oh well.. I really don't think it detracts from the shot much. :)

No one wants to buy yours because you priced it too high and have lowered it twice already. If i saw your listing i would think "Alright lets see how much lower he will go?". I would wait for the listing to time out. Then repost it at at an aggressive 1499. Label it priced to sell.

To be honest, I really can't say I care if someone doesn't like my price. If I price it 1499 I'd be losing way too much money - maybe 1550 will attract someone, that's really as low as I'll go. I'll do $1499 for a local sale though. I don't know, I'd need to be offered on to really think of accepting.

If a D800 was used i would under expose everything with the sensor it has. With Canon not so much

So the weather was crap this weekend... though there would have been some cool shots for photos if I had been alone and been able to pull over while driving around etc. There were some crazy clouds all weekend though.

Uh... Bud Light... Corona... they're both disgusting.

A nice dark ale or a good IPA is where it's at.

Corona is much better than Corona. Obviously I'd take a darker ale over the two or a thicker beer, but Corona is much better piss water than American Piss water.

Yes, my thought's exactly. Normally the histogram in the 7D for me is slightly higher than the one in LR so I normally try and expose right on the 7D and it generally comes out in the middle for the 7D... if I expose middle in camera... well then I'm screwed when it comes out boost the shadows.

Corona is better than Corona? :p I'm assuming you mean corona is better than bud light. I'd rather not drink either and just go for water.

I really wish I had a 40 or 50 with me this weekend...

I think me getting a sigma 50 is inevitable...I might as well just give in now.
