Nice shots Steven. That looks like an awesome place.

Phew... well it looks like my date is still on for tomorrow night. There was a small chance she'd have to cancel due to family coming in town.

That looks so nice. What were the rates for 5 days on off season? Not too crowded I take it? ;)

yeap...no crowd at all. the standard rate for the room we got was something like $400/night, we got it for around $650 (5days 4nights w/ Breakfast).

here's the view from their $2,200/night for 4 villa with own pool and Jacuzzi  the cliff is probably more than a 100 foot drop

haha very very cute indeed... $250 for the new ipad 3? I should break the GF's ipad2 :lol:

Ya know I have no idea but I would think its probably a 2? I remember last year when I got the 2 you could still buy a 1 new for much cheaper. I will have to look at it to figure it out.

:lol: wooohooo!!! Go for it Nick

Yes, the place was awesome, dead quiet except for birds in the morning, no music is played throughout the resort and its freaking dark at night haha...awesome for people who wants to just sit back and relax.

Got some corrupted Tiff and Jpeg files that are currently in CHK format. Anyone have a particular program they use for converting back to jpeg?

No idea. Took a bunch of photos--toward the end I was low on battery I suppose. The final 30 photos (raw and jpeg) disappeared off my card, and instead a number of other photos were doubled up... actually quadrupled. EASEUS data recovery found the files after a corruption scan, and now I have to convert back.

Only happened once. I've heard of something similar happening to someone else.

I thought this was funny/cute:

Her ipad has been broken for a while, so we took it to the apple store and got a new one for $250! She has not had it in a few months, so happy! Shot from the loft was wider but I liked to see her expression.

Is that your daughter's glasses? She's a mini-you? ;)

hehe nada... there was only 1 sunset that was even worthy for long exposure and I did not catch it coz it was gloomy until 6pm, so I went up to the room and when I peeked outside the sky started turning red...so all I got were snapshots

only one worthy sunrise too... and I don't think I made the most out of it coz all my filters and lenses were foggy haha woke up too late
