People,

I was wandering if anyone else who has this head can check how precise it is for me.
I do have one, well I have two but only one with me at the moment, I'm trying to find out how precise the markings are on the side of the head.
The degree markings to make myself clear.

Today I did a small test to see how the 804rc2 really measures up.

I got my tripod level (through the attached bubble on the tripod)
I then set my 804rc2 to zero (in all directions)

Thinking now that the tripod was level, so should the level in the 804rc2.
Wrong, well off to tell the truth.

Am I wrong in thinking that it should resemble the tripods bubble for level?
I did also set the bubble to level in all direction but then rotated it around as I would when making a panoramic shot only to find that at 180 degrees the bubble would fall away to one side...
Is this normal with this type of head?

I would love to start to do more panoramic photos and would like to do it properly, I'm kicking myself with not buying a ball head straight away.

Any advice or info would be great.

S.
