I decided to do a test.. for sports i use a canon 1d MKIII, for glam/portraits i use my Canon 5D MKII... i decided to use my 5D MKII on this shoot... and i have to tell you... although i got some killer shots, this camera (5D2) is SLOW as a SNAIL.....

Anyway here are my offerings!

5D MKII + 70-200 f/2.8 (non IS) MKI

I WILL NEVER use my 5D MKII for sports EVERY... lol Lessons learn, but i think i got some killer images at ISO 2000

Yes but i also said i WON'T Ever shoot with the 5D MKII again for sports... right?

I got good shots because I'm a pretty good sports photographer... JUST SAYING!

I got good shots because I'm a pretty good sports photographer... JUST SAYING!

Did you want critiques? #2, no face, #4 and #5 have horizon issues. Tad underexposed for the most part also.

Yes to the rest..... but like i said in previous post... this was ONLY a test.... I never shot anything FAST with a 5D MKII... which is slow, VERY slow actually.

I'm confused - if it's street basketball why does the floor look like it came out of an indoor court?

Nike built and Indoor Basketball Court OUTDOORS.... lol if that makes any sense, here is a cell phone photo of the full court....

The last cell phone shot is by far the best... love those buildings in the background.
