Meticulously toned or unbelievably lucky--the tones are just about exactly where I'd hope they'd be.

In terms of narrative--well, there are several one can offer or read. but I see an obstruction standing in the way of ones following a loved one. I see loss.

I worked the tones more than usual in this one, I hardly ever use the medium of B&W so when I do I try and make sure it's spot on. So for this shot it meant dodge and burning at 100% crop!

Love the narrative you came up with, feels good when people draw their own conclusions from your work.
