Animated Gif of a hoverfly taken this am with an itchy back. Wait for the image to fully load. I was actually trying to take stereo pairs but the hoverfly would not sit still :). Made from 4 pics.

No I use a diffused flash - camera in manual f11, 1/200th flash in ETTL.
