I had one of those accompany me on a solo trip all the way from south of New Zealand to Cape Horn. He wasn't always in sight but hardly a day went by without him flying by, often stopping to hitch a ride on the back-draft of the head-sails. I watched him for hours and this picture brough back some great memories! Growing old disgracefully!
