Hi,
A while back I did some video using a 1D Mark IV and the built-in Microphone system. The audio was acceptable, but not good all the way around. So we decided to re-shoot with some wireless microphones. We did that, and now here is the strange part:
If I play the new video clip on a Mac OS X Lion, using Quicktime the audio is fine. Although the Lion machine is going through a Pioneer Receiver and good speakers.
If I play the new video clip on a Windows 7 64-bit system using Premier Pro CS6, Windows Media Player, Quicktime or VLC, the audio is barely present -- but there is a lot of background hiss. The windows PC is attached to some powered small speakers.
Just to make sure it wasn't the camera. I tried the wireless system with a Canon 7D, the same issue -- on windows the audio cannot be heard and on mac it's fine.
Any ideas?
