Thanks, thats the beauty of the Southern 100 Rick you can get stupidly close, I was behind a wall each time when i took the pics just used a bit of zoom to give the effect of being in the road.

What Lens?

Such an awesome race... dudes are crazy though!

I was using a Sigma 120-400, its a brilliant lens for roadracing

Nice work Martyn. It was great the way the weather turned for the better just in time for the racing (except Wednesday night and that was for the last race). It is good that you can get so close and still be "safe" behind a wall. The Southern 100 is taking over from the TT as my favourite meeting. Will post some of mine when I get back home (yep, still enjoying my holiday on the island).

Stunning set, I envy you for (presumably) living on the island, and I admire those guys for having the balls to do that for our entertainment
