So Just got my lens and for almost the first time EVER I have been shocked in a good way over a sigma lens! ( The new Sigma 17-70 Contemporary) This lens is SHARP! I have gone thru 25+ lenses and this one just blew me away out of the box.

Just a few quick shots trying out my new flash toys...

First a grid for my flash.

I am from Maui my wife was from Edgemont Village or as she calls it North Van :) met here there when she was at a wedding :) something about Canadian girls :) both my best buddy and I ended up marrying Canadian girls funny enough :)

Canadian girls :) I ended up with a Croatian. Something about blue eyes and tan skin. Meow. Hehe.

The photo was shot somewhere around Wailea/Makena. We stayed at the Maui Kamaole right in Kihei though. It was my second time in Maui and I am so in love w that island. Sigh...

great shot - love his purple shirt ~
although maybe consider either cropping out the sweat-drenched fellow in the background or blur or clone him out... just a thought ~

haha the sweaty shirt was one of the first things I noticed too. I agree this shot will be excellent once you take care of that.

Camera in the hotshoe for all of these.

1. Too lazy to hook up the old hard drive for the unedited photos.
