looks like you have a space to backup, why not use your 50mm? the gal with the orange gown on the right looks so distorted. careful with wide lens for portraiture. look at the shape of her head, it's distorted. her upper arm looks so big.

just trying to help. i made the same mistake before and somebody corrected me. just trying to pass on.

I too made the same mistake with this lens. The young lady in stilver on the bottom-left also has an elongated bicep.

The only crit I have with this is that the flowers, not the ring, are the focus. But that's a small thing...

I used a 36" Octabox. ;) (big whoop lol) Camera left and about 2 feet above my left shoulder (for the close up flower/hand shots).
