I definitely understand why you left the scar there. If she is using it for a portfolio she would not want to misrepresent how she looks. The blemish is just above her right inside eyebrow. Looks like it was a scab recently and just healing up.
Lucky guy to have some aspiring actresses and models to shoot. Here in Iowa, we don't have a lot of movie production going on... EVER!
Keep up the good work man. I really love your work and how quickly you are getting better.

CC appreciated, especially for the black and white conversion. i know that strand of hair in front of her face is distracting. :)

Haha yeah. I definitely have pretty good opportunities at school.

And thanks. I really appreciate the kind words.

I like the lighting but what is the dark patch on her neck? It shows on flickr, too.

Maybe it's how my screen is rendering it.

Judging by the amount of light on top of her head, it appears that it is just a shadow due to the height of the light. Typically I think the light would be lower and the neck would get some fill, but as it is her chin creates a dark shadow. Just my take on it though.

I get that the light would throw a shadow there. The edges of the shadow are off somehow. They appear jagged and almost like the effect you get in PS with using a large brush with rough edges. But hey, I am not an expert in these things. I'll chalk it up to my old eyes.

Oh in that case I am not seeing that either. Not sure, maybe your browser is compressing something?

Yeah, definitely something wonky on my end. I can pull it up on my tablet and it's not there. But on my laptop in Chrome, IE and FF it's there. Strange indeed.

My apologies bolo1313
