This challenge begins when posted, and will end at 6:00 PM Pacific Time, Friday July 20, 2012. Winner of this challenge will be announced shortly thereafter.

Photo Submissions:

1. Camera - Any Canon DSLR Camera
2. Time - any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size - Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post-Processing - do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting - * ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.* Photo Name in the message subject line.* Camera model & lens used.* Notes -- post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
6. Commenting - No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner has been declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work-safe.

Another week in the books. A really tough choice to pick just one.

airfrogusmc "Untitled Lines in B&W"
A wonderful example of the "rules" of photography being broken with excellent results. Though the large part of this photo is underexposed, it screams "lines" in a definitive and pleasing way.

Kevan "Shredded ..."
Great photo, Kevan. Was gonna **** about the crop from force of habit but it absolutely works ... lines from the same family, similar but no two alike and the different colors work together for a nice result.

Maureen Souza "Hawaiian Zip Lines"
Clever interpretation of the subject as well as a great composition. Very nice photo.

Jason C "Self #05"
Killer photo. Can't think of anything else to say.

Funny! It's like the little guy was gonna cross, changed his mind and got all crosslegged. Nice.

CyberCameraPhotography "Half Full"
Very nice composition ... love the grid and the subject placement. Can't quite figure out what it is but of course that's part of the appeal.

Wonderfully interesting photo, Flo. I keep finding something new every time I go back to it.

teekay "Converging Steel"
Another good composition. I like how the lines don't quite make it out of the upper right but disappear into shadow.

pappawheely "Power Lines!"
Yet another wonderful photograph. The power lines form an interesting upper border to the fantastic action shot. Love the dirt plume.

1Tanker "Lines in Fireworks"
Sparkling, sharp photo. One of the nicer fireworks shots I've seen. Magnificent color.

Matrim33 "Plumeria"
An exquisite, unique composition. I'd like to see a lighter version to see if it works as well ... but this is really well thought out and well done.

OK, I really feel like naming a winner here feels a bit random. I have wavered between a handful of these photos but since it's time to make a call, the winner is
