another sunset shot. is there any way to make these sunset photos clearer? there's graininess to this one--it was point n shoot on P mode, G6.

apple strudel pop tart, can you smell it? shutter speed 1/8 - pretty steady hand, considering.

Dining room light and a small lamp used for lighting. Converted to B/W on computer. Only other editing was masking out the reflection of the small lamp in the shooting glasses. My favorite picture of my favorite gun.

Even though I picked up the 10D a while back I still can't part with my trusty little G3. great little street camera, easy to carry and takes fantastic photos.

Very, very nice all :) Sandy, I love that bridge shot, lots of detail.

Artan, looks like your thread is going strong. Is that pic of yours on the N line? I was at that exact same spot last Sunday :) I think I took a photo there too, let me dig it up.

Yes Pio, it was exactly on Sunday...the big storm. I would love to see what was your point of view.

I love the bridge shot and the other photo of a school or whatever it is...I simply love the colors.

Thank you.

Here's a colorful image taken at Peggy's Cove, a photographer's mecca about 90 minutes from my home.

That is lovely, making the photo smaller actually added like a painting effect on it or you did that on PP?

Great photos people!!!

The original was shot in RAW, had to change to a small JPEG, lots of pixelation.

So much seems lost when resizing from a 3 MB file.

Gorgeous!

Great stuff, Ralph. I think I will get the 250D at some point in the near future, I want to specialize in macro shots; this will give me some decent working distance.

Running Photos with G6

I put my G6 to work at a 12KM race this week. Actually pretty happy with the way they all turned out. Took 577 photos on a 1GB card--battery was still alive and I wouldve taken more if not for using up the memory.

Here's a sampling of the photos--note the thumbnails and the bigger photos have been reduced in resolution to limit size, so they dont look as decent as the originals. All taken on P mode.

here are two larger samples, but theyve has also been reduced in res.
