What size Really Right Stuff tripod bag would be right for a Gitzo 3541LS with a RRS BH-55 ballhead?

The TQB-72 Medium bag is intended for a 2-series tripod up to 28" long, and the TQB-80B Large bag is for a 3-series up to 31.5" long. My setup is just under 26" long, will it fit in the medium or do I need the large?

I'm pretty sure you'll need the Large (TQB-80B) due to eh width of the tripod. However, your best bet is to email or call RRS for a quick and accurate answer. That's what I did and they wholeheartedly recommended their large tripod bag.

You'll like the RRS tripod bag. It's built extremely well!

Love it! Nice and sturdy, good height for me (I'm 6'7").

Good idea, just sent them an email. Still would like input from anyone who has one though in order to verify what they say...
