Hi,
well, a couple of weeks ago, while i was on holiday in portugal to visit my parents, i managed to convince my girlfriend to spend a couple of hours in the cold and windy beach with me so i could take a couple of photos.

I was hoping for a beautiful sky/clouds and a great sunset, but that didn't really happen, but i decided to try and make some photos anyway!

The photos were taken close to Porto, In Portugal, with a Canon 60D and the 18-55mm kit lens. In front of the camera i had a very cheap NDFilter.
Then i blend the exposures in Photomatix and Photoshop.

Shots like these clearly show you don't need high quality glass to pull the job off. Yes the good glass is better, but so called kit lens are great too.

well done

These are extremely bearable, and some of the best use of HDR I've ever seen, which is largely used terribly.

Shots #1 and #3 are fantastic .

the blues are very moody. The last two are very painterly.

Nice series; 2,4 and 5 are my favorites. I like the way you composed this series!
