We have a bunch that stay at the lake we live on but they seem to stay on a little rock.cluster in the middle and are too far away, I never see them active, is there any particular time they might be more active and leave the nest so to speak? Thanks and again great shots I especially love number five were the fishes eyeball can be seen

L&D 14 on the Illinois side of the dam. Then another question; stay all summer or just passing thru? I have seen them in Peoria for a couple days' time during their migration. To be honest Rog I dont know how long they have been here or will be here for. My nephew Ted (mercer29) works in Davenport and crosses the bridge there everyday and spotted some flying over earlier last week. We decided to head up Sunday morning and got there at 6am and they were up by the dam feeding. There was always around ten birds feedin right off the dam on the Illinois side till we left at 8:30.
