Bit of a laugh to see such fine equipment used for such "action" shots. Big print for the wall? Nuh.

Romy, whereabouts in Las Pinas is the South Lagoon? I've probably been away too long... Is this a new place in Las Pinas? Never heard of it before...

Hi John,

South Lagoon is the seafront of the Coastal Road leading to Cavite province. It's really a mud/tidal flat, and when the tide is out, all sorts of water birds feed in the place.

This area, a major haven of waterbirds in Metro Manila, is due for reclamation soon. The birds will just have to find a new home elsewhere, for the sake of "development".....:(

Methinks the elephants could do damage also...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

That first one as a wall hanger would certainly be a conversation piece . . .

These birds are very capable of "multitasking". Doing two very important tasks at once......flying and ..........you know what.
